Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio) has been a pretty consistent character throughout all six seasons of “Teen Wolf.” She’s kind, firm and nurturing, and she’s also weirdly down with the fact that her son and his friends face off with death monsters every week.
Besides that though, Mama McCall hasn’t really taken the reins on fighting off evil beyond patching up the kids whenever they end up in the hospital.

It looks like that’s all about to change though, now that Melissa has teamed up with Chris Argent (JR Bourne) to hunt down the Nazi werewolf, who keeps cracking open people’s skull and eating their brains. It’s nice to see Melissa getting her hands dirty after all these years, and we’re even loving the team up between her and Mr. Argent.
That’s not to say we don’t still want her with Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), of course. We’re just not blind; Melissa and Chris have some pretty great chemistry.
One mom we’re less than enamored with, however, is Claudia Stilinski.
After Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) abduction, we could never quite figure out how Claudia’s unexplained resurrection made sense. Erasing her son from everyone’s memories shouldn’t have been enough to raise her from the dead, right?
Now, she seems too keen on stopping Lydia (Holland Roden) from figuring out if Stiles is a real person or a dead end, and that’s sending reg flags up left and right. Why doesn’t she have the same nagging feeling as her husband that something is missing from her life? Why isn’t she remembering these odd conversations about what they’d name their child?

Something is amiss with Claudia, that’s for sure, and at this point we can’t trust her as far as we can throw her.
With the ghost riders abducting people left and right — seriously, at least 10 people went up in smoke at that lacrosse game — it’s going to more important than ever to figure out who’s on Team Scott and who’s on Team Ghost Rider. Something tells us Claudia’s true allegiance might surprise us.
“Teen Wolf” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
