Tori Spelling Niecy Nash Wedding Planner

Socialite/actress/author Tori Spelling has nabbed former Clean House hostesss Niecy Nash as the first customer for her Tori & Dean wedding planning service.

Niecy, 40, announced her engagement to electrical engineer Jay Tucker in September and she’s booked Spelling, 37, and her beau Dean McDermott, 44, to plan the May nuptials, celebrity snoops tell The National Enquirer. Jay and Niecy’s big day — the second for the divorced comedienne/actress — will serve as the series kickoff for Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings, premiering on The Oxygen Network in 2011.

“Niecy put the word out through friends that she was looking for a wedding planner,” says an insider in-the-know. “Tori jumped on the idea and called her immediately. Niecy was thrilled. She had no idea Tori organized weddings. She embraced the idea and thought it’d be great publicity for them both.”

As fans of the reality hit Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood already know, Spelling has put her wedding planning skills to work planning the nups of four of her dearest friends. Now the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is taking on the job with her husband. sTORIbook Weddings will focus on Tori’s impeccable party planning skills while Dean focuses on the groom’s issues leading up to the wedding.

“Viewers will see that Tori has a real knack for planning weddings,” The Enquirer tipster adds.
