What we thought then …
It’s a great bottle episode, with everyone trapped at the school because of a massive storm that hits during an SAT Saturday.

Emily (Shay Mitchell) is acting pretty sketchy, but she’s really just having a hard time dealing with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) being gone and their tumultuous relationship. Plus, “A” is really screwing with Emily by putting her letter to Alison in “Great Expectations” and then making sure Det. Wilden (Bryce Johnson) finds it in Emily’s bag along with her souvenirs from the smashed memorial.
Over on her own show, Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) come to grips with how they just can’t be together, and Aria decides to go out with Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty).
What we know now …
It was actually Lucas (Brendan Robinson) who smashed Alison’s memorial — and he’s really sad about it now that Hanna (Ashley Benson) defended him to Mona (Janel Parrish) and says she’s his friend.
On another note, we know now that Alison was always looking out for the Liars and she was dealing with a lot of crap during all this time before her disappearance.
However, episodes like “Please, Do Talk About Me When I’m Gone” and “The Perfect Storm” serve as good reminders that Alison could also be very cruel to people, including Emily (or more like, especially Emily).
Hindsight hilarity …
Veronica Hastings’ (Lesley Fera) story about getting drunk at the club is kind of funny considering how into wine the “PLL” moms turn out to be.

Speaking of which, thank god the Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) and Byron Montgomery (Chad Lowe) thing didn’t go anywhere. Good lord.
Creepiest dude award goes to …
Wilden by a mile. He’s such a scumbag. However, if he weren’t such a jerk, we wouldn’t have gotten the awesome scene where Veronica puts him in his place.
