Alison Brie Still Wants to Do a ‘Community’ Movie

Alison Brie says she’s nonetheless right down to make a “Community” film, however she’s giving followers a motive to switch their long-used battle cry to “six seasons and a (Netflix) movie,” as a result of the star of “GLOW” (which streams on Netflix, by the best way) needs it made for Netflix, if that wasn’t clear.

“Yeah, I think I would,” Brie advised Pop Culture, when requested if she’d return as Annie Edison for a movie continuation of the Dan Harmon-created comedy. “I mean, look, it’s like, are we going to do the movie? I feel like if the ‘Community’ movie ever gets made, it should just be made for Netflix, and it would be fun to do, but, I think it would be best if we could get everyone to do it, so I feel like that might be difficult.”

So cool. Cool, cool, cool. Now followers simply must get the streaming service and the remainder of the “Community” alums on board to reunite for the movie that might deliver the hashtag to fruition.

Last January, Danny Pudi advised TheWrap he’s “absolutely” up for the film and has “told Dan multiple times — we have a text chain —  we’re ready for the movie!” And just a few months earlier than that, Harmon himself advised TheWrap he’s “trying” to make it occur.

“Community” launched in September 2009 and aired on NBC earlier than shifting to Yahoo! Screen for its remaining 13-episode run. The unique forged included Brie, Pudi, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong, Chevy Chase and Jim Rash.
