Victoria Beckham Range Rover Evoque Designer

Victoria Beckham is “delighted” at being appointed creative design executive at Range Rover.

The former Spice Girls star-turned-fashionista has teamed up with the luxury automotive maker to design her own vehicle. Beckham has been tapped to work on the interior of the new smaller, sleekier Range Rover Evoque model and revealed the collaboration at the Range Rover 40th anniversary party in London on Thursday.

The Evoque, which goes on sale next summer, will be the “greenest” Range Rover yet. Unlike models in the current Range Rover lineup, Evoque buyers will be able to opt for either four-wheel-drive or two-wheel-drive versions.

Victoria says: “This is a very exciting collaboration. The classic British heritage of Range Rover and the effortless style, quality and beauty is something I truly admire and also what I hope to achieve with my own brand. I am honored to take on this role and be part of the creative team.”

The Range Rover Evoque will get its public debut at the Paris motor show on Sept. 30.
