Watch List Nov. 20-25: 6 must-see shows that aren’t named ‘Gilmore Girls’

Highlight on New Movie Released DVD

All anyone can talk about for Thanksgiving 2016 is the “Gilmore Girls” revival — which is legit, we are very excited too.

But guess what? The holiday week has other great TV offerings too. From evil Superman to Killer Frost to a gripping new comedy-thriller, there is a lot of TV to be thankful for this week.

‘Supergirl,’ 8 p.m., Monday, The CW

It’s a bird, it’s a plane … it’s Cyborg Superman! A lot of fans are speculating that Cyborg Superman is actually Hank Henshaw (David Harewood). Wouldn’t that be a cool twist?

‘Search Party,’ 11 p.m., Monday, TBS

Alia Shawkat’s new comedy-thriller is being launched in a very cool way — it is airing two episodes each night for a full week to complete its Season 1 run. It is also available on-demand, so definitely check out the mysterious case of Chantal Witherbottom’s (Clare McNulty) disappearance.

‘The Flash,’ 8 p.m., Tuesday, The CW

Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is being set up as Central City’s newest villain, Killer Frost, which should prove interesting for everyone’s favorite lab geek. Plus, comic book aficionado Kevin Smith is directing the episode, his second one for “The Flash.” He’ll also be directing an episode of “Supergirl” in 2017.

‘SNL’ Thanksgiving special, 9 p.m., Wednesday, NBC

New “Saturday Night Live” episodes are great, but it’s also really fun to revisit classic sketches of yesteryear. The 2016 Thanksgiving special will take a look back at things like Adam Sandler’s turkey song, Bill Swerski’s super fans Thanksgiving and the holiday miracle that is Adele.

’20/20,’ 10 p.m., Wednesday, ABC

“20/20” is doing a special episode in “Designated Survivor’s” normal time slot about the real-life designated survivor — the cabinet member chosen to miss the annual state of the union just in case something happened to the U.S. Capitol building.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 9 a.m., Thursday, CBS & NBC
