What exactly are The Winchesters doing with ‘The Flash’?

It’s an intriguing idea to imagine certain shows dipping into another’s territory. And it’s one that seems to do very well for The CW as the huge crossover between “Supergirl,” “The Flash,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” and “Arrow” is expected to blow fans’ minds later this year.

Hot on the heels of Stephen Amell’s Twitter post which teases these superhero buddies all in one place, Jensen Ackles posted his own clip to whet fans’ appetites. Where have the hunting adventures of The Winchester brothers led them to this time? “The Flash” set, that’s where!

“Hangin on the #TheFlash set w/@jarpad .. Hey @grantgust how do u get any work done with all these rules? #NeedNaps,” tweets Ackles.

It’s definitely a question that Dean Winchester would ask. With all the demon hunting and world saving under his belt, the man sure does love a good burger and a better bit of shut eye.

So what are Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki doing on the Vancouver set anyway? As we previously speculated, this is the time of year when networks shoot their fall TV promos and since the majority of these CW shows shoot in the same general area, grouping the stars under one roof makes complete sense.

And for those of you yearning for Barry Allen to team up with Sam and Dean for some “Supernatural”-style crime fighting … well, this may be the closest we ever get to a crossover. Imagine what the Men of Letters would do with a metahuman like Barry …

“The Flash” returns on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, while “Supernatural” returns for its 12th season on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
