Thursdays are always one of the best nights for TV and Sept. 29 is no exception. From drag queens to dinner parties, from baseball to big box stores, there’s a little something for everyone.
All times Eastern/Pacific.
‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ 8 p.m., ABC
Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are hosting a dinner party and nothing says good TV like a “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”-type dysfunctional dinner party situation.
‘RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race,’ 8 p.m., Logo
After Phi Phi O’Hara and her cloud of negativity got bounced from “All Stars 2,” things are back to business for RuPaul’s proteges. But after a fun design challenge, it sounds like there’s a surprising elimination on the horizon.
‘Superstore,’ 8 p.m., NBC

Dina (Lauren Ash) is going to enlist Jonah’s (Ben Feldman) help in rehabbing her image after turning on all her co-workers during the strike, which should be a lot of fun. Even in a cast full of talented comedians, Ash is a stand out.
‘Pitch,’ 9 p.m., FOX

The second episode of “Pitch” is even better than the pilot, delving into the personal lives of set against the backdrop of the media circus surrounding “Ginn-sanity.”
‘I Love Kellie Pickler,’ 10 p.m., CMT

If you were a fan of Pickler’s “American Idol” antics — “What’s a ballsy?” — get ready for her trip to Japan, where she will “taste the authetic cuisine and attempt to speak Japanese.” Oh, dear. It’s a special hour-long episode, so it’s sure to be chock full o’ Pickler shenanigans.
