Will American prefer Remix version of Kites?

The Kites has already been released worldwide and a shorter version for the western audience by the name of Kites Remixed is also being released shortly. This has put the American people in dilemma over the choice from the two versions of the movie.

In North America, the film was rated amongst 10 highest grossing movies, but it did not gross even$1million.

Now the film has been edited down to 90 minutes in the form of a new film Kites: The Remix. The question being asked is if this shorter version is going to do better business? It is to be noted that shorter version of My Name is Khan had bombed.

But Kites: The Remix is expected to fair well as it is a romantic thriller and has an international cast and Ratner’s name is on the film as editor.
