Dentsu Aegis Group’s Carat Media is on a huge winning spree. The agency has won the media mandate for General Motors, Microsoft India and Nokia India. According to industry estimates, these three accounts make for a combined estimated business of Rs 700-750 crore.
According to highly placed industry sources, Carat Media will handle General Motors’ entire media mandate including digital and outdoor. Madison was incumbent agency on the account.
The agency has also won Microsoft India business for which it will handle all the media duties including online. The incumbent agency on this account was Lodestar UM.
Nokia India has also consolidated its media mandate with Carat Media. Earlier, Nokia had split media duties between Maxus, Lintas and DDB Mudra. While Maxus was handling media, Lintas and DDB Mudra were together handling outdoor duties.
When contacted, Kartik Iyer, MD, Carat India, declined to comment.
