If you fear that someone out there may be sniffing at your searches on internet and your secrets may be revealed, then do not be scared anymore. Google has come out with a new encrypted search, which the search engine has launched for the benefit of the surfers.

Encrypted search gives the users the option to use SSL [Secure Socket Layer] in order to escape from packet sniffing that is done to peek into whatever the searcher doing on Internet.

This tool will be helpful in maintaining online privacy and security of the users. They can easily have access to the search version of Google from today. The service is launched as beta. But since it takes longer to secure connection, the service may take time and may be little slower.

Initially, the service will be available for web searches only and will not be accessible for Google’s other search options.
