Jessica Lange won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie on Monday night for her performance on American Horror Story: Coven on FX.

“I’m profoundly surprised at this, but very grateful,” Lange said in her acceptance speech. “Special thanks to everybody who is part of my life on this show, starting with, as Kathy [Bates] said, one of the greatest crews that work tirelessly.” She also thanked her castmates, “a cast that is a dream come true, beginning to end,” and added, “Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.”

Other nominees in the category were Helena Bonham Carter (Burton and Taylor), Minnie Driver (Return to Zero), Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story: Coven), Cicely Tyson (The Trip to Bountiful), and Kristen Wiig (The Spoils of Babylon).
