London, May 7 : American singer Lady Gaga has made up her mind to prove that she is an aristocratic lady by finding about her family history, it has emerged.
The 24-year-old singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has said that she can trace her family roots back to England, reports The Daily Star.
The Poker face hitmaker thinks that she may be from the royal family.
She has written a letter to the College of Arms, who keep a record of all royal ancestry lines, to find out the truth.
“Lady GaGa’s family has always speculated about their English links. Who knows, she may have claims to be in the House of Lords or even be somewhere in line for the throne,” a source said.
