On Friday, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Narendra Modi has written a letter to PM Manmohan Singh appealing for an apology from the German parliamentary delegation showing disrespect for the democratically-elected state’s head.
Modi has requested to talk about this matter with the German Ambassador and said that the Ambassador should ask the delegation to give a public apology.
The foreign delegation members were in India to study the status of the minorities who have ordered the European Union to deny Modi’s visa.
