The film is based on a 2008 pitch by Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman. At the time, the title was in question due to 20th Century Fox’s film adaptation of the television series The A-Team and the Sony project, also titled The B Team, which later became the Adam McKay comedy The Other Guys.
Ever busy, Rogen appeared earlier this year in The Green Hornet, Paul, 50/50, Take This Waltz and Kung Fu Panda 2. He can next been seen in the comedy My Mother’s Curse.
