As he did last year with Transformers: Dark of the Moon star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Michael Bay is turning to a supermodel to play a part in his next, Pain and Gain. Variety reports that Bar Paly has been cast alongside the previously-announced Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris and Rob Corddry and, also newly-announced, Tony Shaloub.

Based on a true story, “Pain and Gain” follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida.

Paly, who has previously appeared on television and film in smaller roles, also has a role in the upcoming Roman Coppola project A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. In Pain and Gain, she’ll play an illegal immigrant named Sabina Petrescu who dreams of making it as a Hollywood star.

Shaloub, meanwhile, is best known for his title role on “Monk” and will play the man that Wahlberg’s character targets for his criminal plot.
