Spartacus Star Andy Whitfield Passes Away

“Spartacus: Blood and Sand” actor Andy Whitfield died from non-Hodgkin lymphoma today, September 11, in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 39.

Whitfield’s manager Sam Maydew and wife Vashti said in a statement that Whitfield died on a “sunny Sydney morning” in the “arms of his loving wife.”

The actor left the Starz show when he was diagnosed 18 months ago.

cliffrobertsonspiderman Oscar Winner Cliff Robertson Passes Away at Age 88Cliff Robertson, who played John F. Kennedy in PT-109 and won an Oscar for Charly, passed away on Saturday, September 10, at the age of 88.

His secretary of 53 years, Evelyn Christel, said he died at Stony Brook University Medical Center on Long Island of natural causes a day after his 88th birthday, according to The Associated Press.
