Unsurprisingly, Sam Raimi has successfully halted production on an unauthorized sequel to his classic horror film, The Evil Dead. The director’s Renaissance Pictures — formed with screen partners Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell — sued Award Pictures who were working on Evil Dead 4: Consequences.
