20th Century Fox has extended the title of the previously-named “Rise of the Apes” to Rise of the Planet of the Apes , the studio has confirmed to ComingSoon.net.
Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the sci-fi action adventure stars James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, Brian Cox, Tom Felton and David Oyelowo. It opens in theaters on August 5.
