Screen Gems has announced that principal photography has begun on Planet B Boy, starring Josh Holloway, Laz Alonso, Josh Peck, Caity Lotz and Chris Brown. The film will be directed by Benson Lee from a script written by Brin Hill and Chris Parker.

Inspired by the award-winning documentary, Planet B Boy, the film is about an all-star American b-boy crew

Following a successful debut at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month, Gareth Evans’ The Raid is likely for an American remake. The Hollywood Reporter has word that Screen Gems is interested in developing an English-language version of the Indonesian action film.

Though Evans is expected to make an American film his next project, he reportedly turned down the offer to remake
