Jack Black is set to play the lead role in Bailout , Deadline reports.
The film, from director Michael Winterbottom ( The Trip , 24 Hour Party People ), is based on the 2009 novel, “The Financial Lives of the Poets” by Jess Walter (who also adapted the screenplay). The novel’s official synopsis is as follows:
