As Microsoft’s Kin is not so popular among consumers it was decide by Verizon to cut the prices.
Even a significant TV ad campaign did not help as the handset has gotten a scant attention since its launch. As a matter of fact, the Kin has come across steep competition from the iPhone as well as smartphones which are enabled with thousands of applications.
The Kin One is now available for $29, while originally it cost $49. As for the Kin Two, it will cost you $49. Both handsets are offered with a new two-year contract as well as higher monthly data plan.
As for Microsoft, the company refused to comment on sales of Kin. According to a worker from Verizon Wireless store, the Kin is being outsold by Droid and even older Palm Pre handsets.

When I held the device last month I found several cool features, such as the built-in Zune player as well as PC-based Kin Studio. Due to the Zune player, Zune Pass subscribers are provided with an opportunity to stream the song they prefer most of all. But despite the mobile device includes a range of quirks, i.e. the lack of a calendar, also it is not so easy for Twitter users to reply to Twitter posts, send direct messages or re-tweet items.
