Note: The following may spoil scenes from The Dark Knight Rises so read and watch at your own risk.

Christopher Nolan’s third Batman movie is looking to have more and more in common with the previous Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman films with each day that passes. Not only will The Dark Knight Rises take place in winter (a la Batman Returns), but it will feature Catwoman (Batman Returns) and Bane (Batman & Robin), as well as what looks to be the next incarnation of the Batplane, last seen in both Tim Burton’s original Batman and Batman Forever.

Based on the these amateur videos from the set of The Dark Knight Rises in Pittsburgh, it would appear as if Batman takes his Batplane for a ride through the streets of Gotham at some point. What we don’t know yet, though, is whether his new Tumbler turns into the Batplane or if it’s an entirely separate vehicle.

Check out some video of the ride below, as well as the scene from Tim Burton’s Batman featuring the Batplane.
