Rep of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett has dismissed reports that the stars are making their Broadway debut with ‘A streetcar named desire.’

The New York Post reported that the pair has been approached to play Stanley and Stella Kowalski in the Tennessee Williams play, which previously starred a then-unknown Marlon Brando and Jessica Tandy in the late 1940s.

They were reportedly set to appear in the show”s revival next year (11), but a spokesperson has now refuted the speculation.

“There is no truth (to the reports) whatsoever,” the Daily Express quoted the rep as telling GossipCop.com.

The Smiths have been a fixture on the New York City theatre scene ever since they signed on as co-producers of Tony Award-winning musical ‘Fela!’ last year (09).
