“Fast Five” — New “Fast & Furious” — Trailer

On Tuesday, Universal Pictures released the highly-anticipated trailer for the fifth installment in their decade-old and never-ending Fast and the Furious franchise via Vin Diesel‘s Facebook page. The move was a well developed promo stunt by the mega-studio, which is leveraging the chisled action star’s 19 million + Facebook fans to drum up buzz ahead of the release of Fast 5, the second sequel to reunite the original cast of 2001′s racing blockbuster The Fast and the Furious.

In addition to returning cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris, the new Fast also features big screen heavyweight Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Fast 5 races into theaters April 29.
