Glee’s going across the pond for an all-new singing/dancing stage extravaganza. On Friday, producers of the hit FOX hit musical-comedy announced that the show’s cast will embark on a tour of Europe once the set goes dim for summer break in May.

Your favorite New Directions singers — Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), and Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) — have all signed on to sing their hearts out in a stage celebration that will also feature series newcomers Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine).

The concert, dubbed “Glee Live! In Concert!,” iwill include live performances of some of the show’s most memorable musical numbers from the past two seasons — including “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin.’” Earlier this month, The Gleekers revealed that they will perform a mashup of Michael Jackson’s 1982 epic “Thriller” as part of the show’s buzzworthy Super Bowl 2011 episode. We can’t help wondering whether that single will make the cut.

“We had such a great time putting together last year’s shows and the response from the fans was incredible. People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show. And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon,” says Glee creator Ryan Murphy.

The shows will take place in Manchester, London, and Dublin, Ireland. The tour is set to start in Manchester, on June 22, 2011 and travel to the English capital in London for performances at the O2 Arena on June 25 and 26 before ending up in Ireland with shows on July 2 and 3.
