“Glee” Tour Dates Summer 2011

The cast of television’s Glee is hitting the road for the second summer in a row. Following the massive success of their five-city, sold out 2010 concert tour, the stars behind FOX’s Emmy-winning musical-comedy are embarking on another North American trek, this time hitting 16 cities in the US and Canada.

The 2010 North American Glee Live! In Concert! Tour was seen by over 70,000 people in four cities and generated more than $5 million in ticket sales. This year’s Glee Tour will kick off on May 21 in Las Vegas before visiting more arenas in other major US cities — including the Staples Center and the Nassau Coliseum.

The tour will feature the most memorable musical numbers from the past two seasons of Glee, including “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic,” ”My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and naturally, the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin.’” While series stars Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison are not expected to participate, the shows will feature thirteen members of the show’s cast; including Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), as well as Gleek newcomers Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet.

“The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” Glee creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement Tuesday. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.”

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 19 to the general public, but American Express cardmembers get the first chance at tickets this Friday, Feb. 11. For more information, visit GleeTour.com!
