Rihanna Gifts Russell & Katy With Second Honeymoon

With friends like these….Rihanna was so devastated over missing her best friend Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell Brand last month that the “Rude Boy” singer has reportedly splashed out a fistful of dough for a second honeymoon for the newlyweds.

Remind us again, why aren’t we friends with Rihanna?

Rihanna was putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming fifth studio album, Loud, when Katy tied the knot with Russ in India in October.

“Rihanna hasn’t stopped apologizing since the wedding day. She told Katy she’d been racking her brains about how to make it up to them,” said a mutual friend.

And make it up she did, forking out almost $50,000 on a romantic trip for two to Tokyo, Japan.

The newlyweds will fly first class to the Japanese capital and then spend four nights in the Dynasty suite at Tokyo’s exclusive Mandarin Oriental Hotel later this year.

All on Rihanna’s dime.

“She knows how much Katy loves Tokyo, so this way she could give them a trip they would always remember,” the source adds.
