Calvin Harris Is in a "Much Better Place" After Taylor Swift Breakup

How the tides have turned.

When Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift first broke up, it seemed to be an incredibly amicable split. The Scottish DJ addressed the rumors surrounding his split with a simple tweet that said he and Swift have nothing but respect for each other. In return, T. Swift retweeted his words, proving that they really were making the bets of it.

However, the status of their post-breakup friendship came into question after Calvin slammed the “Style” songstress for trying to take credit for co-writing “This Is What You Came for.” Since then, Calvin has changed his tune (pun intended) about his ex-girlfriend.

Despite being spotted with various women over the past few weeks, a source tells E! News that Calvin, who real name is Adam Wiles, is not serious with anyone.

“Adam is single. He is dating a few different women. Nothing has stuck. He is not looking for a relationship at all, just fun times with friends,” the source tells us exclusively. “Adam is in a much better place after the breakup with Taylor.”

Although he was upset at first about his relationship coming to an end, Calvin has moved on. Swift also moved on with Tom Hiddleston, but that relationship also came to an end three months after it started. “Adam is not surprised that the relationship did not work with Tom and Taylor,” our insider dishes. “He is just happy to not be in the relationship anymore and realized they were not a good fit in the end, but he wishes her the best!”

Calvin previously opened up about his breakup with Swift in British GQ, explaining that his headline-making split made it all the more difficult to handle.

“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly,” he told the publication. “The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself.”

He added, “When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense.”

Harris even admitted to regretting using social media to slam his ex-girlfriend.

“It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled,” Harris told GQ. “It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped. I’m not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I’m a positive guy.”
