New Line Cinema

If you stayed by way of the credit of It, hoping for a Marvel-esque Easter egg, you have been upset by what you noticed (nothing, moreover who the most effective boy was) however not what you heard (Pennywise’s snigger). That wasn’t the unique plan.

Director Andy Muschietti instructed the Huffington Post that the highest-grossing horror film ever was presupposed to have a post-credits scene with “Beverly Marsh picking up the phone.” But not a clunky 1980s cellphone, and never Beverly Marsh as performed by Sophia Lillis, both. “So, 27 years later, post credit, you would see a phone ringing,” he stated. “It’s an iPhone, so it’s impossible that it’s 1989, and a hand comes in and the camera wraps around this red-haired back of a head, and we turn around, and it’s Jessica Chastain!” Chastain performs the grownup winter fire-haired member of the Losers Club in It Chapter Two, with Lillis because the youthful model. Unfortunately, the timing didn’t work for the cameo.

Barbara Muschietti, the movie’s producer and Andy’s sister, stated they couldn’t get the schedules collectively to shoot the scene with Chastain for his or her first installment of It, launched in September 2017. “We did all that we had to do to make sure that Jess was our Beverly, and then she was, so we got our wish,” Barbara Muschietti stated of It Chapter Two.
