Jennifer Aniston Forced To Change Name Of “Lolavie” Fragrance

It’s a Scent Snafu for sexy screen star Jennifer Aniston.

On Wednesday, the Marley & Me actress launched her first fragrance at Harrod’s in London with a last-minute name switch.

Originally titled Lolavie — meaning “laughing at life”– the floral fragrance is now simply called Jennifer Aniston By Jennifer Aniston. The change came after marketing bosses realized the Lolavie name was similar to the name of an already-existing fragrance by fashion designer Marc Jacobs, Lola.

“It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell, but it has a special significance,” Aniston said explaining the Lolavie title.

“It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace. And at such a late hour, I didn’t want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name.”
