Lara Stone and David Walliams Attended Charity Gala

Back from their honeymoon Lara Stone and David Walliams partied with guests in order to raise £1.7 million dedicated for cancer care at the weekend.
There were guests with big names from the world of music, film, art as well as fashion. It was the fifth annual Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Midsummer gala that was held at Hampton Court in south-west London.

A cheeky contribution was made by the Little Britain star to the event. Along with his Dutch model wife they were putting up to action, they acted as referee.
In fact, the event was held in commemoration of Raisa Gorbachev, who was the wife of Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Russian president. In 1999 she died because of leukemia.
The event was attended by Mikhail who was the guest of honor. He was accompanied by his daughter Irina Virganskaya along with her husband as well as their two children, Kseniya and Anastasia Virganskaya.

Among film stars one could see Anjelica Huston, Hugh Grant, Dougray Scott, Alan Rickman as well as Neve Campbell. As for the world of music, there were such famous people as Simon Le Bon along with his wife Yasmin, Bryan Ferry, who was a performer of the event as well as Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

The received money from the auction was divided between the UK’s Marie Curie Cancer Care charity as well as the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation
