Maks Chmerkovskiy Disses The Sitch: “He’s Misrepresting New Jersey!”

There’s no love lost between Dancing With The Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and reality TV’s million dollar man, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

Maks — who hopes to hoof his way to victory and the coveted Mirrorball Trophy with singer/actress Brandy this season — is a native of the Ukraine but settled in The Garden State after emigrating to the US. Chmerkovskiy has a bone to pick with The Sitch and his Jack & Coke-soaked companions on the hit MTV docu-soap, who he says “represents [a] really small group of people.”

“He’s definitely misrepresenting everything about Jersey,” the ballroom aficionado told Access Hollywood Live Friday. “What he represents are the people that are not from Jersey that come to [the] Jersey Shore and make it what it is. And that’s exactly what it is,” Maks retorted. “He’s not even from Jersey. He’s from Long Island.”

The Situation is dancing with Maks’ former fiancee Karina Smirnoff on the current 11th season of DWTS.
