Mickey Rourke Stinks: “He’s Like Pigpen!”

He’s yet to snag an Oscar, but The Wrestler’s Mickey Rourke already has one mayjah case of B.O.

Turns out the body that made women swoon in the erotic ’80s film 9 1/2 Weeks oozes so much man-pong, it’s beginning to cause problems in the workplace, snoops squeal to The National Enquirer. Word on the Curb claims that Mickey smells so bad that even co-stars and crew members on his films hold their breath when he’s in the atmosphere.

Eww…

“Mickey’s a nice guy – but the bottom line is he smells!” one production insider reveals. “He’s got a definite hygiene problem. Between his overpowering body odour and his awful breath, a lot of people won’t go near him unless they have to.”

Apparently Rourke “either forgets to take showers or is adamantly opposed to using deodorant,” and his trailer is “so sloppy and messy” that makeup and wardrobe team members try to work with him anywhere else but there.

“They avoid that trailer like a hazardous waste dump!”

“Mickey’s like Pigpen in the Peanuts comics,” another loose-lipped snitch chimed in. “He’s lovable, but dirty. Directors tend to overlook his bad hygiene because he’s such a sweetheart and gifted actor. But the crew and the cast get the brunt of it. On bad days when they see Mickey, they run in the other direction.”

Poor Mickey. Maybe someone should give him a surprise hose-down every now and then?
