Nicholas Stoller Takes Townies

With his The Five-Year Engagement now in theaters, Nicholas Stoller has lined up his next project with the Universal Pictures comedy Townies. The Hollywood Reporter says that Stoller will direct with Zac Efron and Seth Rogen attached to star.
Written by Andrew Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, Townies will feature a rivalry between a the member of a college fraternity (Efron) and a local family man (Rogen).
Stoller, who also directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek, also co-wrote The Muppets and is currently working on that film’s still-untitled sequel.
