Nick Jonas, Michelle Obama Join Disney’s Healthy Living Campaign

The Mouseketeers over at The Walt Disney Co. have launched a national multimedia campaign that enlists parents’ help in their quest to raise healthy, happy kids. The “Disney Magic of Healthy Living” Initiative, which includes public service announcements featuring First Lady Michelle Obama and young Disney stars — including boy bander Nick Jonas, aims to help families improve their diet and introduce more exercise into their lifestyles.

“I am thrilled to join Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living effort and support the work these young people are doing to reach out to their peers and communicate this powerful message,” says Mrs. O. “I hope through programs like the Magic of Healthy Living, young people are inspired to take control of their own health, fitness and nutrition and engage their families, schools and communities to do the same.”
