Nir Rosen On “Anderson Cooper 360″ — “I’m A Jerk…”

“I’m look like a jerk,” shamed journalist Nir Rosen told CNN’s Anderson Cooper during an appearance on his show Wednesday.

For those not in-the-knowm Rosen is the newsman who used his Twitter feed to cracked one-liners about the brutal sexual assault on CBS reporter Lara Logan in Egypt last week. He made a satellite appearance on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show 360 last night to apologize and explain himself. Anderson, himself the subject of some disrespectful Tweets from Rosen, demanded answers from the journalist, whose online insensitivity cost him his position as a fellow with New York University.

“…Dozens of women suffered from this attack, and one of them is going to get all the attention because she’s white and she’s a celebrity correspondent. I’m not — again, I’m not defending myself here or justifying it, but just explaining.”

Logan, who is continuing her recovery at home in Washington, got a phone call from President Obama yesterday. The president wanted to offer Logan, her husband, and their two children his well wishes.
