Actor Peter Sellers’ letter, which he wrote to ensure financial security for his troubled daughter Victoria just hours before his death, is all set to go under the hammer, 30 years after his passing.

Initially, the comedian decided to leave his youngest daughter Victoria a mere 800 pounds of his fortune.

But the ‘Pink Panther’ star changed his mind during a visit to London in 1980 and requested the sum be increased to 20,000 pounds.

Before the legal changes could be made, Sellers died on July 22 aged 54, after suffering a heart attack.

Now the ill-fated document is to go under the hammer at an auction in Devizes, Wiltshire and Auctioneers Henry Aldridge n Son expect it to fetch 2,000 pounds, reports the Daily Express.

Sellers’ one and only Golden Globe, for his performance in the 1979 film ‘Being There’, is also up for grabs.
