Pretty Little Liars Star Troian Bellisario Accuses Taylor Swift of Promoting "False Femini…

Troian Bellisario isn’t afraid to let her opinion be known.

The Pretty Little Liars star recently attended a Cosmopolitan-hosted panel at the Democratic National Convention, where hot button issues across politics and pop culture were both major topics of discussion. Bellisario herself is a Bernie Sanders-turned-Hillary Clinton supporter, but it’s only when conversation turned to Hollywood’s currently most embittered feud that the actress really got to speak her mind.

When asked about the drama surrounding Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, Troian offered discontent over both parties.

“Oh god, I have such an aversion to the Kardashians because I literally don’t understand people’s obsession with them and I don’t want to accept them as our closest thing to a royal family, so I guess I would be Team Taylor Swift?” she pondered.

Not so fast, though. The 30-year-old quickly backtracked, explaining that although the reality television stars might not necessarily be her favorite, she also wants absolutely nothing to do with Swift.

“However, I’m so appalled by what I consider to be her false feminism. It seems like she’s this person who’s like, ‘Sisterhood!’ and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends,” Bellisario shared, referencing Taylor’s often evolving squad of famous pals.

To put it in political terms, if Kardashian and Swift were the only candidates running for the White House, Troian probably wouldn’t even show up to the polls.

“So is it possible to just be, like… this is a two-party system that I don’t want to be a part of?” she mused, adding, “Can I just say that? Can I say that I would choose the Green Party in this?”

Luckily for Troian, democracy is alive and well in Hollywood.
