Actor Ryan Reynolds is recovering from injuries he suffered while filming scenes for his title role in Marvel’s The Green Lantern, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.
The Proposal star, 33, “is in lots of pain” after separating his shoulder during a stunt on the film’s New Orleans set on Monday.
Ryan has taken the rest of the week off from film and is championing through the pain by keeping ice on the injured area. Reynolds reportedly beat out Hollywood stars Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto to land the lead role alongside onscreen love interest Blake Lively.
We’ll get to see just how acrobatic the hunk can be when The Green Lantern premieres in theaters in June 2011.
