‘Teen Wolf’ cast reveals their final lessons learned

Highlight on New Movie Released DVD

With “Teen Wolf” coming to an end after Season 6, it’s time to start preparing ourselves to say goodbye to Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and the rest of the pack.

Over the years, they’ve fought off Alphas, Ghost Riders, Dread Doctors and more, but they’ve also made allies of hell hounds, banshees and were-coyotes alike. Now, it’s time for everyone to go their separate ways (except Scott and Stiles who will obviously be inseparable for the rest of their lives), and these characters have to start learning their last lessons.

We asked the cast of “Teen Wolf” what they hope their characters walk away with at the end of it all, and we got some super sweet answers. Seriously, prepare to tear up.

“One thing that Scott is going to take away from this entire thing,” Posey says, “Just know that you are good enough, and that you really tried, and that you were a kid who was put in an insane situation, and you handled it the best you could so don’t get down on yourself too much. And you’re still learning.”

Shelley Hennig hopes that Malia manages to walk away from the show with “a small victory,” while Holland Roden is just appreciative that Lydia got in on the action and learned a bit of empathy. She also jokes that Lydia “learned how to solve crimes in Beacon Hills all before she has a high school diploma,” which is pretty impressive.

If we’re honest, we’re wondering why a prodigy like Lydia hasn’t already got an undergrad degree at this point.

Cody Christian hopes that bad boy Theo manages to redeem himself in some small ways, saying, “I would love to see him do that kind of 180 and be the good guy, but not like the cheesy good guy — like the good guy that has some edge to him.”

We’ll see if and how Theo attempts to balance the moral scales when he returns to “Teen Wolf” in January.

“Teen Wolf” returns Jan. 3, 2017 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
