The first trailer for Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go, Bernadette was cute and quirky with an emphasis on the whimsical rating and folks saying the title “Bernadette” rather a lot. But within the second teaser for the movie, which got here out Friday, the main target is squarely on what brought on Bernadette (Cate Blanchett) to vanish. She put her household’s happiness over her personal, she works an excessive amount of and sleeps too little, and her neighbor, performed by Kristen Wiig, is an obtrusive nuisance. I’d wish to flood her home with mud, too. So, in the future, Bernadette jumps out the toilet window and disappears, leaving her teen daughter to search out her. “I have this one shot to launch my second act,” she says. “So, step aside, because I am about to kick the hell out of life.” Ma’am, that is an Arby’s.
