Just watched it and this movie is fucking fantastic. The cinematography is phenomenal, the whole thing is gorgeous, and Mackay is just a brilliant actor; definitely someone to watch out for.

I fell for George MacKay madly in "1917." The man's one hell of an actor, and I can't express how excited I am to see him in this hallucinatory romp! Not only that, but it looks like a great film in general. Super amped for it!

Just watched it, it's the biggest pile of shit I've ever seen! they had The Kelly Gang wearing bloody dresses as they died which isn't true, they made Neds mother into a whore which isn't true, they made Ned look like a nutter…maybe true? who knows, I get that it isn't based on truth but bloody hell, talk about shitting on a legend! Ned was a badass! this movie was to busy trying to be edgy and cool and completely missed the spirit of Ned Kelly!

Basically all that was good about this movie was the cinematography in a few scenes, George Mackay's acting and that they filmed the hanging scene in Melbourne gaol.
Everything else was rubbish.

When I watched this movie I felt attached to Ned, the things he’s seen and done just makes me feel sad for him. Best movie of 2020 so far. He inspired me to be yourself and rewrite your own history

Saw it last November, premiere in Italy. It was epic, great acting, George is remarkable as always, and the film making and photography… So strong, ravishing. Kurzel's works are always beautiful
