Check Out the New ‘Captain America’ Poster

Big-screen Captain America is almost here. The comic book character that pretty much defined super heroes in the 1940s and early 1950s (along with Captain Marvel and Superman) will make its modern debut in the form of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America — and the buzz and excitement is high for the July 22 release.

To whet your appetite for more, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios has released the International Poster, which you can see after the jump. It prominently features the evil Red Skull looming over Captain America and the good guys.

The Joe Johnston-directed ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ stars Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving (as the Red Skull), Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Neal McDonough, Derek Luke and Stanley Tucci.
