Han Solo: Woody Harrelson (The Edge of Seventeen, above), recently confirmed to be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars movie that will revolve around Han Solo, was asked if he would be playing Garrish Shrike, a mentor to Solo who was first introduced in a Star Wars novel. Harrelson hesitated, asked for the question to be repeated, and hesitated again before replying: “Yes, I am.” Later a Lucasfilm executive cast doubt on which question Harrelson was answering. Ernest Tidyman created the private detective for a novel and then cowrote the script for the first film version, starring Richard Roundtree. Samuel L.
