How could the people in the Midsommar trailer not think anything was wrong on arriving? Even without any supernatural stuff, walking into a remote village with weird symbols where everyone is dressed in white and looks drugged should be huge warning signs. One look at the village, I'd turn right around muttering 'nope' the whole way back to the car.
