Sort of like that old Twilight Zone episode called "Stopover in a Quiet Town" where a couple wakes up in a house they don't recognize in a weird, deserted town they can't escape from. The house is filled with props (like a dollhouse might have). The grass is fake. The trees are fake and a squirrel in the trees is stuffed. They even get on an empty train but it just loops around and takes them back to the station they started in (just like what happened in the car in the above clip). Ends up the town is just a model village created by giant aliens. The whole thing is just a toy for the child of the aliens and the people were obviously kidnapped from Earth (just like human kids might have mice as pets). I'm sure that won't be what this ends up being though. Of course they know about that Twilight Zone episode.
