‘Quantico’: Sebastian’s gone rogue & Raina’s life may be in serious danger

While Nimah (Yasmine Al Massri ) maybe be an active part of “Quantico’s” new task force, we’ve barely seen her twin sister Raina at all this year. Unfortunately, if that huge cliffhanger from Monday’s (April 3) episode is any indication, we may have just seen the very last of her.

These mysterious assassins that killed Leon (Aarón Díaz) have set their sights on Raina next, staging her apartment in a seriously compromising way before grabbing her. When and if Nimah shows up to make amends with her sister, she’ll find an apartment full of suspicious materials (including what looks like plans for a possible terrorist attack), but no sign of her sister.

It’s unclear so far if these assassins want to kill Raina, but we’re not hopeful for her survival considering the last attendee of G20 Summit they approached ended up soaking in a bathtub with two slit wrists.

It’s hard to stomach the idea of losing Raina (or watching Nimah lose her), but the break we’ve gotten from the twins’ switcharoos and mistaken identities this year has been a nice reprieve. If given the choice between endless twin adventures and sticking to one Amin sister, we’d have to go with the latter.

One person we absolutely don’t want to lose, however, is Harry Doyle (Russell Tovey).

In the first half of Season 2, Harry’s hot and cold romance with his roommate Sebastian (David Lim) slid from entertaining to downright toxic, and it seems they’ve somehow managed to reach a layer below rock bottom with “Quantico’s” latest twist.

After getting a woman killed trying to suss out members of this mysterious terrorist network Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and her team are hunting down, Harry discovers that hired gun who opened fire on Central Park was actually Sebastian. He didn’t seem particularly happy about the fact that he’d just murdered two people in cold blood, but that didn’t stop him from holding a gun to Harry’s head and forcing him to break off his new partnership with Alex and her team.

If you’d asked us a few months ago whether Sebastian would ever kill Harry, we’d have laughed you out of the room. Now though, after everything he’s seen and done, Sebastian is unstable at worst, dangerous at best.

We’ll be crossing our fingers that next week’s episode doesn’t open up on Harry’s dead body.

“Quantico” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
