I have heard nothing, but humor in the trailers and see a lot of sad scenes in the trailers. I don't want to ruin people's days, but that is REALLY bad. This movie is going to be a complete shit show train wreck. If there are this many sad scenes assuming each is 10minutes or more and the trailer is 2 hours. I can only see bad because I saw atleast 50 minutes sadness. 20 minutes explanation. and like 20 minutes humor. The last 30 minutes is unknown and often films are actually 1 hour 40minutes. So that can leave only 10 minutes. To me, and I can be wrong, this film looks like complete garbage. GREAT ANIMATION. Except mew two he looks off to me.

If u are a true pokemon fan, In the pokemon fire red leaf green sea blue, you will be able to remember some guy who owns the pc nerwork system to store item and pokemon. And that specific dude in his first meating with you, he was able to transfer his consciousness to a pokemon and needed help going back. Clearly it was not pikachu. Also one of the pokemon old episode talks about quantum entity and technology to store pokemon in the system, they talked about storing the memories and recreating them. So if i combine this to all of your ideas, there mighy be some people doing research editing someones memory possibly as a weapon and maby ash or harry volunteered and reason could be to control Mewtwo but it just didnt end up well. And now they are being chased by some lucario users because pikachu has the technology or piece that they need to finish this task.

This actually looks like a good movie for 90’s and 2000’s kids. I’m glad they gave pikachu a voice or else it would have been mostly a movie about the humans than the Pokémon. Good choice
