‘Teen Wolf’ to kill off major character in Season 6?

With the final season of “Teen Wolf” off to a great start, it’s easy to focus on what everyone’s happy endings will look like.

Will Scott (Tyler Posey) find a way to move on from Beacon Hills and the supernatural? Will Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) finally get together? Will Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) be able to step up and take over the pack in Scott’s absence?

However, who’s to say all their endings will be happy? Final seasons are also the time to kill off beloved characters (just ask “The Vampire Diaries”) — and we’re more than a little worried about who might be meeting a tragic end in Season 6 of “Teen Wolf.”

Jeff Davis recently reinforced our worries about a major character death, and now we’re on high alert.

“We might have a little blood on our hands at the end of the show,” Davis says. “That’s one of the things we talked about. Who’s going to live and who’s going to die? Part of it is you wants to make it feel epic and make it feel meaningful, but I’m not one of those people who thinks we should just kill characters left and right just for the sensationalism of it. It has to be a meaningful death. Hopefully if we’re going to kill off a character or two, it will be meaningful and a part of the story.”

A character or TWO?! How could you, Jeff Davis?

In all seriousness, we’re not too terribly worried for the core characters — specifically the graduating seniors. They’ve been with the show longest, and it would be a little too devastating if Scott, Stiles, Lydia, or Malia (Shelley Hennig) bit the dust.

The rest of the main cast, however, seems to be up for grabs.

We’ve zeroed in on Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley) specifically, after Kelly voiced his own concerns about whether Parrish will end up walking away from the season alive.

“Do we know Parrish is going to walk away?” Kelley teases, “I think that’s sort of another struggle with Season 6, I mean, not giving away too much. The Beast is gone; that’s sort of what Parrish’s purpose was … I hope we wrap [the season] up in some way that if he is alive, he finds his purpose.”

Not to be all doom and gloom about Beacon Hills’ cutest deputy, but that certainly sounds like a morbid outlook on Parrish’s future.

“Teen Wolf” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the MTV.
